OMG!! my crab did that i put 3 shells in there for her and me,my mom,and her friend saw her change twice!! my moms friend said she was going to have nightmairs! lol!!
i have to ask which of your crabs do you like the most? see my crabs well i have one and the other 2 are my sisters and shes 3, so i take care of all of them lol!but yeah any way marshmellow ,mellow for short, i love her to death!but im afraid if i get another one she will feel left out. you know that sounded so weird so forget i said all that. like yeah i just wont to know your favorite!!

crablover, my favorite happens to be Beans. I dont know if its because he's the only one I have thats a different species than the others (Purple Pincher) or if its because I've had him the longest - or both?
i had the same thing happen to me i came back from dowstairs and one of my crabs moved in to another shell and it looked like she didn't like it so she went over to her old shell and i saw her swich it was so cool!
Yea... seeing a *shell swap* taking place IS kewl! However, if you don't like seeing *gross things* then its probably not for you... hahah
one time i had a crab walkin around with no shell and its still livin but now it has it back on:)
Recently one of my crabs was walking around naked too off and on for about a week. he must have been sick because he passed onto crab heaven....
ohh i am so sorry i have owned only 4 and 2 died :(
my crab is always changing between 3 shells in his cabitat. it is like once a week. i don't no why this is, but is this a good thing?
Well, I am not an expert, but it sounds like to me your crab is just experimenting with different shells. maybe he is growing and is just looking for a good new home! Right now about 3 of my crabs keep changing shells too! So, I guess it doesnt seem to be a problem.
